| 内容記述 | 【目的】在宅療養中の終末期がん患者の家族介護者を対象に、アロマセラピストである看護師がアロママッサージを実施することにより、家族介護者の主観的な反応を明らかにすることを目的とする。【方法】在宅終末期がん患者の家族介護者8名を対象として、アロマセラピストである看護師が研究協力者の自宅に3回訪問を行い、研究協力者にアロママッサージを約30分実施し、参与観察と半構成的インタビューから得られた質的データを分析した。【結果】家族介護者の平均年齢は54.1±16.1歳、患者との続柄は妻5名、娘3名、介護期間は7.8±6.9ヶ月であった。家族介護者がアロママッサージを受けることで、＜症状が緩和する＞、＜リラクセーションする＞、＜アロママッサージ後のリフレッシュ感＞、＜感情の解放＞、＜自分自身の健康を意識する＞、＜内省する＞、＜介護の中にアロママッサージを取り入れることに意欲を示す＞、＜患者や介護におけるアロママッサージへの期待＞、＜患者の状態に左右される＞、＜看護師の専門知識を頼りにする＞という反応がみられた。【結論】アロママッサージを家族介護者に行うことで、家族介護者の身体・精神・社会・介護面に反応が認められた。アロマセラピストである看護師が家族介護者に行なうアロママッサージは、家族介護者のリフレッシュと介護意欲につながり、また、家族介護者に簡便なアロママッサージの指導を行うことも介護意欲につながることが示唆された。|【Purpose】The purpose of this study was to identify a response to massage therapy for terminal cancer patients' family caregivers in the home. This result will provide information for nursing care for home-based family caregivers. 【Methods】Eight family caregivers were given aroma massage therapy by researcher as aroma therapist at their home. The aroma therapist visited their homes three times for providing each time of 30 minute’ aroma massage. During aroma massage, researcher as aroma therapist had observational survey and interviews for family caregivers. The quality of data was analyzed inductively. 【Results】Family caregivers' average age was 54.1±16.1 years old ; relation of cancer patients were 5 wives and 3 daughters ; duration of caring period were 7.8±6.9 months. Having massage therapy were altered to family caregivers good feeling such as " relief of symptoms", " relaxation" , " feeling of refreshment after having aroma massage", " release of emotion", " aware of their own health", " reflection with oneself", " eager to have aroma massage therapy during care of cancer patients", " expectation of aroma massage for patients and care", "the dependence of caregiver on the their patients' condition", and "depend on nurses' expert knowledge". 【Conclusion】Family caregivers were given aroma massages and they had the following responses such as better physical, mental, social, and care giving conditions. Nurses such as aroma therapists are able to support family caregivers by using aroma massage. Also, teaching simple aroma massage to family caregivers will help them take better care of terminal cancer patients in the home. | |||||
