 note = {目的：精神障害者を抱える家族の社会的経済状態・生活状況の実態を把握し、今後の効果的な支援方法を知るために本調査を行った。対象者は全国精神障害者家族会（全家連）に属する沖縄県の家族437名で、回答者は148名（33.9％）であった。結果及び考察：低い回収率の限界を踏まえた上で、沖縄県内の家族会に属する家族の社会的・健康状態と生活の実態を捉えた。ｌ）家族が抱える精神障害者は、在宅群82.4％、平均年令は41.4歳であった。家族の平均年令は64.8歳で、その48％が高齢の母親であり、平均年齢は76.3歳であった（表１，２)。２）家族の多くは年金生活であり、年収は沖縄県民一人あたりの平均より低かった（図１）。３）家族は精神障害者の世話に追われ、家族自身の生活を犠牲にしていた（図２，３)。４）GHQ28を用いて家族の精神健康度を調べた結果、家族の健威度は障害者の入院期間に関連し、特に在宅群では障害者の病状が家族の精神健康度と関連がみられた（表５，６)。これは家族の障害を受容するプロセスと関連し、受容には長い時間を要することが考えられた。|In order to know the actual socio-economic, mental health, and daily life situations of the families with the mentally disordered and to facilitate the future effective support for them, we administered a questionnaire survey to 437 members of Japanese Family Alliance for the Mentally Disordered(ZENKAREN) in Okinawa, 143 families responded (33.9%). Result: 1) 82% of families has been taking care of their mentally disordered (average age 41.7) in the community. The average age of families was 64.8 years and 48% of them was old mothers (average age 76.3) (Table 1, 2). 2) Almost of all the families live on an annuity and their total annual income was lower than those of average Okinawan people (Figure 1). 3) The families have been sacrificing personal lives to the care of their mentally disordered (Figure 2, 3). 4) By GHQ28 the families' mental health status significantly related with the length of hospital stay. And the mental status of the families living with the mentally disordered in the community especially related with the years from the onset of disease (Table 5, 6). It is suggested that the acceptance of the mental diseases and to overcome the difficulties need a long time and need lots of social and psychological supports to the families.},
