Contents of the lecture are: characteristics of adult in life cycle and health; characteristics of nursing in adult; self-care and health promotion; factors affecting health and self-care; advising, consulting, and supporting; health promotion in industries or companies; and field trip to health departments in industries and companies. Papers were assigned to the students depending on the progress of the class schedule and authors evaluated the students' eagerness to learn, interest and the degree of students' learning. By evaluating students' learning from assigned papers, authors noticed that there is a variation in learning among students'; however, students engaged in active learning and found new objectives by themselves. Also, amount of reference and students' reading comprehensive skills influenced on quality of writing. As regards the field trip to the health promotion department at industries or companies, all students had interest and the trip is found to be effective for students to understand the characteristics of adult that is the target population in Adult Health and Nursing and nursing functions and
