This report is based on the following case study. A sick child had been receiving treatment at a general hospital in Tokyo. He comes from another prefecture. He had one younger sister (2years old). Her brother had osteo-sarcome, a very serious illness. His family had no relatives in Tokyo. So the mother was taking care of her children by herself. The nurse introduced the mother to a child care supporter. The child care supporter took care of her daughter until she finished with her son's care. The child care supporter made every effort to meet the daughter's need. I analyed the child care supporter's written record of support.
