 note = {本研究の目的は､住民主体の地域づくりのモデル島として関わっているＫ島において､高齢者の生きがいづくり活動｢ふれあい広場｣誕生までの経過から､利便性の高い離島における生きがいづくりについて考察することである｡対象地域は､本島南部のＣ村に属し､Ｃ村から船舶で15分の距離にある｢神の島｣として知られるＫ島｡対象は､(1)住民主体活動を行っているワーキンググループメンバー､(2)平成14年２月現在､Ｋ島に住民登録している65歳以上の全高齢者110人中､｢Ｋ島高齢者介護意識等調査｣の有効回答者91名｡(3)平成15年２月現在､Ｋ島に住民登録している65歳以上の全高齢者115人中､｢Ｋ島高齢者ニーズ調査｣の有効回答者83人｡方法は、(1)平成14年９月～平成15年７月まで､月１～２回開催されたワーキンググループ討議全17回中､高齢者の生きがいづくり活動｢ふれあい広場｣誕生に関連すると考えられる12回の討議内容の検討｡(2)｢Ｋ島高齢者介護意識等調査｣から､生きがいづくりに関連する11問を抽出｡(3)｢Ｋ島高齢者ニーズ調査｣から生きがい作りに関する項目として｢高齢者活動｣の項目６問を抽出｡(4)平成14年3月から15年７月の高齢者の生きがい作り活動｢ふれあい広場｣誕生までの経過について､上記2つの調査とグループ討議を検討した｡結果および考察：１) 神事を生きがいづくりに積極的に活用することの重要性が示唆された｡２) 介護の支え手の乏しいＫ島では､地理的利便性を生かし｢郷友会｣を介護マンパワーとして活用することで､高齢者の生きがいづくり展開の可能性があると考える｡３) 住民主体活動としてのグループ討議は､個々人の｢高齢者ニーズ調査｣結果を基礎にし､ニーズに基づいた｢ふれあい広場｣活動の準備､実現に繋がった｡４) 高齢者の生きがい作りの場として誕生した｢ふれあい広場｣は､島内の交流の拠点にとどまらず､利便性を生かして島外施設入所者の生きがいづくりの場､郷友会など島外生活者のふれあいの場など､島外との交流の拠点としての展開を期待したい｡|The authors are supporting the inhabitant centered community organization in K Island. The purpose of this research is to discuss about fulfillment of life of the people in the adjacent island with high convenience with mainland Okinawa. Subject area K Island, which is known as an island of gods, belongs to C Village in the southern region of main island of Okinawa. Subjects are: (1)the members of the inhabitant centered working group; (2)the 91 elderly, out of 110 who were more than 65 years old and had resident registration in K Island at February 2002 and replied with valid answers to "K Island Home Care Consciousness Investigation"; (3)the 83 elderly, out of 115 who were more than 65 years old and had resident registration in K Island at February 2003 and replied with valid answers to "K Island Elderly Needs Investigation". The study design is: (1)examination of 12 discussions of the working group, out of 17 of them, that were held once or twice a month in the period from September 2002 to July 2003; (2)selecting the 11 questionnaires which were related with fulfillment of life from "K Island Home Care Consciousness Investigation"; (3)selecting the 6 questionnaires which are related with fulfillment of life from "K Island Elderly Needs Investigation"; (4)examining the two investigations and 12 discussions about the process of creating "Fureai Hiroba" in the period of March 2002 to July 2003. Result and Conclusions: １) Turning the god events to good account for the activities of fulfillment of life is important. ２) Because of the high convenience with the main island, turning the "K Kyouyuukai"; peoples group who once lived in K Island and now live in main island of Okinawa, to good account for the manpower of Kaigo; ３) The working group discussions as an inhabitant centered activity were based on the results of a needs investigation, and created "Fureai Hiroba" which met the individual needs of elderly; ４) "Fureai Hiroba" was born through an action for fulfillment of life of the elderly. This is not only expected as a place of exchange for the people in the island, but also the fulfillment of life for the institutionalized elderly in the main island and the exchange with the people living outside of the island such as "K Kyouyuukai" members.},
