Ueda et al. (1999) reported that \"Satisfaction in Life\", \"Depr essive Feelings\", \"Support from Family\" were related to subjective health conditions both for male and female subjects. However, gender differences were identified such as \"Fall asleep easily\", \"Taking meals regularly\" for female while \"Present Employment\" and \"Appraisal of Nurturance of own Parents\" for male as important factors. The purpose of present study is to explore factors related to the subjective health conditions on male and female subjects by multi-variable analysis to find the contributing variables on young adults' healthy problems and for intervention. Subjects were 266 young adults - 125 males and 141 females - who had participated in longitudinal study from infancy that lived in Tokyo, Iwate and Okinawa Prefecture. Questionnaires on their subjective health conditions and a life state, etc. were mailed to be answered and were sent back. Two important results were obtained: firstly, for both males and females, subjective health conditions were related to \"Satisfaction in life\" , \"Depressive Feelings\" , and \"Support from Family\". Secondly, there were gender differences regarding \"Present Employment\" and \"Place of Residence\" for males and \"Present Employmenf\" was related to their subjective health conditions positively. For females, \"Wanted Job\" and \"Unemployed\" were related to their subjective health conditions positively, and \"Un-wanted Job\" and \"Student\" were negatively. Concerning \"Living Place\", for males, living in Okinawa or Iwate Prefectures was related to subjective health conditions positively, while living in Tokyo for females was related positively.
